Local Waste, Local Impact: Turning the Tide on Tyre Waste in Aotearoa

At the heart of our mission lies an unwavering commitment to make a difference, not just in our business but in our entire community and environment. Our "Local Waste, Local Impact" initiative encapsulates our narrative and dedication to addressing a pressing issue that affects us all: end-of-life tyre waste.

A Startling Reality:

Every year in New Zealand, a staggering 90,000 tons of tyres reach the end of their life cycle. That's an immense amount of waste when you consider the cumulative impact over the years. What's even more concerning is that approximately 60,000 tons of these tyres are left unattended, destined for either landfills or stockpiles. This poses a significant environmental hazard, one that we cannot afford to ignore.

Our Ambitious Goal:

We believe that the impact we can have on this waste is nothing short of immense. Our long-term vision involves managing as much of this tyre waste per annum as is possible. By doing so, we will not only divert these tyres from landfills and stockpiles but also create valuable resources from what was once considered waste.

Local Waste, Local Impact:

Our mission is simple yet profound. We are committed to working with local waste, specifically end-of-life tyres, to bring about a local impact in Aotearoa. By addressing this issue at the local level, we are not only contributing to a more sustainable future but also making a meaningful difference right in our own backyard.

Beyond Business:

Our journey is about more than just business. It's about environmental stewardship, community engagement and ethical practices. We are determined to play our part in reducing tyre waste, minimising environmental harm and creating a circular economy that revolutionises us all.

With tireless determination, we can turn the tide on tyre waste in Aotearoa. Our "Local Waste, Local Impact" logo represents our commitment to this cause. It's a symbol of hope, progress and positive change.

Stay connected with us as we embark on this transformative journey.

We are excited about the impact we can create, and we invite you to be a part of our mission for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
