Moulded Products
We specialise in transforming tyre crumb into high quality moulded products by meticulously considering technical parameters and design requirements. This comprehensive process ensures that each product meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Material Properties: We begin by assessing the type, hardness and contamination levels of the recycled rubber. This step is crucial to ensure that the raw materials meet our stringent quality standards.
Pre-Treatment: Tyre crumb then undergoes grinding, cleaning and, if necessary, devulcanisation to achieve uniformity and material compatibility. This pre-treatment phase is essential for preparing the material for the moulding process.
Mould Design: Our expert team designs the moulds with precision, focusing on shape accuracy and venting to prevent air entrapment. This ensures that the final products have a flawless finish and meet the desired specifications.
Temperature & Pressure: We carefully control the temperature and pressure during the moulding process to achieve optimal curing. Consistent pressure and precise temperature management are key to producing high-quality products.
Curing & Cooling: Proper heat exposure and controlled cooling are critical to prevent defects and ensure the durability of the moulded products. This phase solidifies the product’s structural integrity.
Mechanical Performance: We rigorously test the mechanical performance of our products to ensure they exhibit the necessary strength, elasticity and abrasion resistance. This guarantees the products can withstand various applications and conditions.
Environmental Conditions: Managing moisture and room conditions is vital to maintaining the quality of moulded products. We ensure the production environment is optimal for the materials being used.
Additives: Where required, we incorporate compatible binding agents and fillers to enhance the properties of the moulded products. These additives help achieve the desired performance characteristics and improve the overall quality.
Floor Tile
Our floor tiles are made using local recycled tyres and offer versatility in their application. They can be permanently installed or lose laid, they’re impact absorbent, durable, porous, non-slip, easy to clean and suitable for use indoors and outdoors. They assist with noise reduction and optimised for use in Gyms. They’re compatible with most adhesives and currently come in 500mm x 500mm x 15mm (4Kg) Black.
Sole Board
Our scaffold sole boards are made using local recycled tyres with sustainable stability at heart. They’re built to last a minimum of 5 years with durability front of mind. They do not rot, grow mold and do not crack. They're tested to withstand maximum loads of up to 9 tons. Our sole boards are designed as reusable to replace legacy timber consumable sole boards to become an asset to businesses and promote a lower carbon footprint.
