Recycled Rubber Tiles Donated to SPCA New Zealand

200 recycled rubber tiles delivered to Andrew Burt, Facilities Manager SPCA New Zealand

We believe in giving back to the community and supporting those who care for our most vulnerable. We’re proud to have delivered 200 locally manufactured rubber floor tiles to Andrew Burt, Facilities Manager at SPCA New Zealand, helping to cover 50 sqm of floor space within their Auckland facilities.

Made from 100% locally sourced and recycled end-of-life tyres, these durable, easy-to-clean and non-slip floor tiles provide a safer, more comfortable environment for the animals in SPCA’s care. Whether in recovery areas, play spaces, or housing facilities, these tiles offer shock absorption, noise reduction and insulation, creating a more calm and stress-free space for both animals and caregivers.

Beyond the benefits to SPCA, this initiative has a powerful environmental impact—diverting waste tyres from landfill (each mat is equivalent to one end of life passenger tyre, therefore 200 tyres) and repurposing them into long-lasting, practical solutions.

Through our participation in the Tyrewise Product Stewardship Scheme, we’re not only helping to create sustainable solutions but also reinforcing our commitment to local waste, local impact.

A huge thank you to SPCA for the incredible work they do every day. We’re honoured to play a small part in supporting their mission. 💙
